A large city on the east coast, Ardenbara is a merchant-ocracy wherein the city is run by a confederation of Merchant-Houses who constantly vie for the ruling position of High-Merchant.

The city is split into two major districts, the Commons? and the Coin?. The Coin is the financial and bureaucratic centre of the city located on a circular island in the middle of the bay of Arden, and is famous for having gold coloured paving stones on its roads. The Commons consists of the remains of the city including the docks and the city slums on the east and west banks of the bay.

Organisations

• Hellfang Convocation is alleged to have originated in Ardenbara.
• White Sables? has a chapterhouse outside the city and have a strong presence within the city.

Merchant Houses

• House Torrithon? - The current ruling house in Ardenbara specializing in the provision of military hardware and services.
• House Sigune - Moderately powerful house specializing in naval trading vessels.
